JUDGING RUBRIC

Six criteria, weighted out of 100. Healthcare agentic AI carries higher stakes than typical hackathon software — patient safety, clinical validity, privacy, and equity are first-class evaluation criteria.

No. 00120%
CLINICAL VALUE & PROBLEM FIT
Does the project address a real, meaningful healthcare problem, and is the agent the right tool for it? Look for user research with clinicians, patients, or operators, and a reason an agent beats a static tool.
TIEBREAKER RANK#2
No. 00220%
AGENTIC DESIGN & TECHNICAL EXECUTION
How well is the agent architected? Tool selection, planning, error recovery, evaluation harness, and fluency with NemoClaw / OpenClaw.
TIEBREAKER RANK#3
No. 00320%
SAFETY, TRUST & RESPONSIBLE AI
Hallucination control, scope boundaries, human-in-the-loop, bias and equity considerations, and a clear stance on the agent's role vs. clinical judgment.
TIEBREAKER RANK#1
No. 00415%
DATA, PRIVACY & COMPLIANCE
PHI handling, HIPAA awareness, data provenance, consent, and compliance posture. Judges assess thoughtfulness, not certification.
TIEBREAKER RANK
No. 00515%
FEASIBILITY & PATH TO DEPLOYMENT
Could this realistically be piloted? Workflow / EHR integration, buyer identification, ROI story, regulatory posture. Credible thinking, not a full GTM.
TIEBREAKER RANK
No. 00610%
DEMO QUALITY & COMMUNICATION
Clarity of pitch, quality of live demo, and ability to credibly answer judges' questions. 5 min presentation + demo, followed by Q&A.
TIEBREAKER RANK
★ TIEBREAKER ORDER
If two teams tie on total score, the winner is decided by: SAFETY → then CLINICAL VALUE → then AGENTIC DESIGN. Patient safety wins ties.
